All Island Equity REIT was established in May 2017 with the acquisition of a $65 million portfolio in the Comox Valley which included 334 apartment units and 55,100 square feet of commercial space from Robert H. Ash & Associates Ltd. Subsequently, All Island Equity REIT added $110 million in properties, sold some smaller and non-performing assets, and expanded across Vancouver Island and into the interior, bringing our total portfolio to 870 apartment units and 58,000 square feet of commercial space. Including capital improvements and IFRS revaluations, All Island Equity has a total of over $222 million of real estate assets under management as of December 31, 2023. ^[2]

All Island Equity REIT’s primary objective is to generate attractive, stable, tax-efficient cash returns to unitholders, while also increasing unitholder value through capital appreciation of its real estate portfolio. Currently, All Island Equity REIT pays a 3.5% annual distribution, paid quarterly, and has increased unit value from $10.00 at inception to $17.12 in 2024. ^[2]
